Charles, was brought into this world by a teenaged mother in Stockton California. As a mere child herself, she did the best she could without any positive male influences to help raise a man. Charles’ primary male examples were his drug addicted, incarcerated biological father, and his abusive alcoholic step-father.
Despite those onset challenges Charles’ life journey led him to serve in the United States Navy. After 28 years of law enforcement service he retired as the California Governor appointed Chief of the Department of Corrections street law enforcement unit.
Charles is married, father to four adult children, and “Papi” to 12 grandchildren. Charles is a black belt in Goju Ryu Karate, and an inductee into the Masters Martial Arts Hall of Fame. His passion is mentoring young men by the sharing of his God given talents, gifts, abilities and life experiences.
